Brooklyn Peltz Beckham’s love affair with food began early on. Taught by his childhood nanny to cook his first dishes, he developed a deep appreciation for flavour during his childhood, taking cooking classes, experimenting with dishes, and chasing conversations with chefs. Now 26, he’s transformed that lifelong passion into his own culinary legacy.

“I’ve always been obsessed with trying new foods,” Brooklyn Peltz Beckham admits with a laugh, tracing his culinary curiosity to the diverse cultures that inspired his earliest cooking experiments.

But the young entrepreneur never envisioned himself as a traditional chef. Instead, his culinary journey took a more personal turn. During the COVID-19 pandemic, like many others, he found solace in the kitchen, cooking daily as a creative outlet. Encouraged by his then-fiancée and now wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, he began sharing his recipes and cooking experiments online, connecting with food enthusiasts who appreciated his unfiltered, approachable style.

One late-night kitchen experiment would change everything.

“I just wanted to create what I thought was the best hot sauce. I actually made it with my Mrs., one night, at like 11 pm, when we were both drunk, which is really funny,” he shares candidly.

That spontaneous moment led to the birth of Cloud 23, a premium condiment line named after Peltz Beckham’s age and the couple’s engagement date. The brand, which launched with two meticulously crafted hot sauces, reflects Peltz Beckham’s fondness for bold, balanced flavours.

Made with organic, non-GMO ingredients, Cloud 23 was designed to elevate a wide range of dishes—from tacos and grilled meats to cocktails and even British pub classics like gammon, eggs, and chips.

Though based in Los Angeles, where he and Nicola reside, Peltz Beckham frequently returns to London, the city where he grew up. His visits are often filled with nostalgic food stops.

“I grew up here, so it’s always nice to come back,” he says. “The first thing I did when I landed? I went down to The Wigmore and had a pint of Guinness, a grilled cheese, and a scotch egg. It’s so good!”
